Elm Street Particulars

PARKING
Parking is free and is allowed in the Elm Street Park parking lot, the Elm Street Gymnasium Parking lot (directly across the street). Street parking is also allowed in the marked areas along Elm Street. 

FIRST AID
First Aid will be available in the souvenir stand located under the awning near the concession stand.

WATER
Ice Water and cups will be supplied to each team. Teams are welcome to bring their own beverages in to the dugout area if they wish.

BALL PARK CONCESSIONS
The concession stand features hot foods which include: hot dogs, BBQ sandwiches, Domino’s Pizza and nachos. It also includes items such as popcorn, peanuts, candy, soft drinks, water, lemonade, sports drinks, and ice cream will be offered at reasonable prices. We realize the high cost of travel and while we hope you will frequent our concession stand on occasion feel free to bring outside food and drinks.

MEMORABILIA SALES
A souvenir stand will be located between the Elm Street Center and the first base bullpen. Tournament t-shirts, baseball t-shirts, hats, postcards, official tournament baseballs, pins, Louisville Slugger souvenir bats, programs, and “Baseball at Elm Street” prints are all a part of the selection of souvenirs that will be offered.

PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY
Only accredited media people may enter the field or bullpen area to photograph or videotape the games.  Fans are welcome to take pictures from the spectator areas.  Please remember FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY IS PROHIBITED. Accredited media members are asked to e-mail [email protected] prior to the tournament so a press pass may be prepared in advance.

PLAYING SURFACE
The infield grass is 419 Bermuda Grass and the outfield is common Bermuda grass.  The skinned area of the infield is clay from Stovall, NC top dressed with approximately 2.5 tons of infield conditioner. The walkways and areas in front of the dugouts are red brick dust while the coaching areas at first and third base are Astroturf. 

FENCES
The outfield fence is 200 feet all the way around and 4 feet high.  It is made of treated wood and was built before the 2005 season. 

BATTING PRACTICE (PRE GAME)
Pre game batting practice may be taken in the batting cages behind third base dugout. These cages (1 to a team) are reserved for you for a time period beginning two hours prior to your scheduled game time.

PRACTICE FACILITIES
Fields may be reserved for practice during off times at the Perkins Complex. The Perkins Complex (1701 East 14th Street) can be found by exiting Elm Street’s parking lot and turning left.  Go left at the light at 14 Street and go through 1 light (Greenville Boulevard).  After crossing Greenville Boulevard take an immediate left onto Leon Hardee Rd. The Perkins Complex is at the end of Leon Hardee Road (about 300 feet). There are two cages and three fields available for practice. To reserve fields for practice on off days call Brian Weingartz at (252) 341-5680.

INDOOR FACILITIES
The Sports Connection, an indoor hitting facility located directly in front of the Perkins Complex, may be available for indoor batting practice during the tournament. Call (252) 215-9090 for more information.

The Next Level Training Center is an indoor baseball facility located on 1750 Wimbledon Drive. This is a top notch training facility which will also be available for indoor practices and workouts. The Next Level is about a 10 minute drive from Elm Street.  More information on the Next Level Training Center may be obtained by dialing (252) 756-6398.

SPORTING GOODS STORES
Dick’s Sporting Goods, located at 3500 Galleria Drive (252) 329-0241, can help you with many of your sporting goods needs while your are here in Greenville

Stadium Sports, located on 1400 Charles Boulevard (252) 329-1212, can also help you with any sporting goods needs you have during your stay in Greenville.

SEATING AT ELM STREET PARK
Fans are welcome to sit in any of the stadium style chair back seats behind home plate, the right field bleachers, or in lawn chairs on the right field upper deck.  Spectators are also welcome to lean on the brick walls down either foul line or watch the game from behind the outfield fence. 

Permanent seating capacity at Elm Street breaks down like this: 
Stallings Stadium— 234 seats
Right Field Bleachers (Sections 201-207) 200 seats
Standing Room and Lawn Chair Seating provides space for approximately 600 spectators.
